ROOM FOR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
black latex balloons

According to scientists, each person has an average of 60.000 thoughts a day. Around 95 percent of those are the same thoughts we had yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. For the average person, 80 percent of those habitual thoughts are negative. This means that most people have more than 45.000 negative thoughts each day. This happens because our brain is hardwired to pay more attention to negative than to positive experiences.
Negative (unhelpful) thinking patterns can have a strong impact on our lives. The black balloons symbolise depression. Each balloon represents an individual negative thought. Decide for yourself what you want to do with them. Stand still to observe, be aware and accept the negative thinking, destroy the balloons to create space, make room for thoughts by keep adding more or play with them to make the environment feel lighter.
